Connected Health Solutions, Inc. is an organizational development consultancy dedicated to assisting agencies to deliver the highest quality services to vulnerable and under-served populations. We do this by increasing organizational knowledge and capacity through fun, entertaining, engaging and innovative programming.
While strategic planning, capacity-building, program development & evaluation, and staff training are fundamental organizational development products, Connected Health Solutions, Inc. specializes in teaching agencies how to incorporate new media and enjoyment in all of their approaches.
Since 1999 Connected Health Solutions’ Principal Consultant, Kenny Neal Shults, has been a leader and innovator in the field of utilizing new media to further public health and other behavioral outcomes. Since that time he has developed numerous resources and engaged with scores of agencies to employ Internet and social media strategies to streamline services, connect with difficult-to-reach populations, and market themselves in ways traditional outreach methods cannot.
We take a culturally sensitive approach to our work, and employ tested behavior science, best practices, the latest research, adult-learning principals, and knowledge derived from years of experience to assist organizations with a variety or services and products.
Staff and Consultants
It’s all about the people. We believe in each other. The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.
Kenny Neal Shults has over 20 years of experience working and consulting with service organizations across the country to develop sound, innovative, measurable, engaging, and respectful strategies for engaging with key, vulnerable populations.
Kenny specializes in public health and behavior-change program and curriculum development surrounding a variety of at-risk populations, including adolescents, men who have sex with men (MSM), intravenous drug users (IDU), homeless and runaway teens, lgb and trans populations. Kenny has been a pioneer in the development of Internet and social media-based approaches and travels the U.S. lecturing and training on social marketing for public health, using the internet to reach youth and MSM, and the impacts of new media on public and mental health and at-risk-population behavior.
In 1999, he developed some of the first program objectives and evaluation strategies for agencies using the Internet to reach clients in online venues, and later developed the first policies, procedures and protocols for agency use in minimizing liability and ensuring ethical service delivery.
